On April 23, 2008, Leadership Troy presented a public informational forum on the future of the Troy Public Library. Speakers were:
- Louise Schilling, Mayor-City of Troy;
- Jim Mumby, Principal Architect, Fanning/Howey Associates, Inc. (the firm that did a detail study for city council);
- Cathleen Russ, Director-Troy Public Library;
- Kul Gauri, Chairman-City of Troy Library Advisory Board and
- Jeanne Stine, President-Friends of Troy Public Library
